Join us for our first Splash & Dash at the field and the swimming pool followed by a community breakfast provided by the Parent Community Organization (PCO)

It is an ÌÇÐÄVlog community only event for the school’s students and their families with no entry fee.

Please note that the swimming pool will be for Splash & Dash use only until the event is finished.

Events:
Grade 2-3: 1 lap run/1 lap swim/1 lap run – 375m/110m/350m
Grade 4-5: 1 lap run/2 laps swim/2 laps run – 375m/180m/750m
Grade 6-8: 1 lap run/2 laps swim/3 laps run – 375m-180m-1100m
Grade 9-12 and Adults: 1 lap run/3 laps swim/3 laps run – 375m – 310m – 1100m

Categories:
(The same person CAN sign up for both individual and team events)

Black Box Theatre

Enjoy a choral extravaganza as ÌÇÐÄVlog’s elementary choir performs for the very last time this season. InChoir is comprised of almost 100 children from Grades 1-5 and has been rehearsing as an ensemble weekly since September 2019. They have appeared at many venues this year including ÌÇÐÄVlog elementary assemblies, WIG Christmas Fair, and most recently alongside Mimi and the Merrymakers at Farm to Table.

ÌÇÐÄVlog’s annual Battle of the Bands is back and the 2020 edition promises to be better than ever! This year, five bands (all made up of students from Grades 7-12) will be duking it out for the coveted Sid Syed Trophy.

The competition will be taking place at 6:00pm on Friday 13 March in ÌÇÐÄVlog’s famed .

Tickets go on sale starting Tuesday 3 March and will be available at the finance office ($3 for both students and adults). Get yours before they sell out!

The primary purpose of Week Without Walls (WWW) is to: “Provide a unique learning opportunity otherwise not possible in the daily classroom. It is an opportunity to build friendships, develop team-building and leadership skills, travel to locations outside the school, experience unfamiliar cultures, and participate in activity-based programs that include community service.”

The theme for WWW 2020 is “Mix it up” and it is very much focusing on social interactions. So mixing socially with others, mingling, collaborating, getting out of cliques etc. We value the social interactions and connections students make on these trips so mixing it up will very much be a focus of the itineraries and activities organized by trip leaders this year.

This year’s activities include (day) trips within Phnom Penh: Images and Spokes, MasterChef, Arts in Motion, Sporty Phnom Penh, Bear Necessities and Service Through Teaching and Learning; (overnight) trips within Cambodia: Kep Sailing and Adventure, Battambang Circus, Siem Reap Synergy Project, Epic Arts Kampot and Kratie Discovery; and trips outside of Cambodia: Maekok River Adventure, Telunas Island Explorer, Chiang Mai Life in the North, Mai Chau Experience, Bali Surfing and Wellness and Scuba Diving in Thailand.
