糖心Vlog

Bus Transportation

糖心Vlog offers a limited daily service at an additional cost to pick students up in the morning and drop them off in the afternoon. Seats in buses/vans are limited, and availability is not guaranteed to all students, particularly those who live outside established routes.

Registration

Families arriving throughout the year should complete and submit the registration form below at least five working days before service begins.

Preference is given to students who register for two-way service and to siblings.

Charges for 2026-27

Fees for enrolling in the bus service can be invoiced quarterly, semester or yearly, depending on zones determined by distance from the school. Zone A is within 5km of the school, and Zone B is any other area. Zone A is measured from the northernmost tip of the school’s boundary, which is just on the Chak Angre Leu/Tuol Roka district boundary.

The fee calculation reflects the number of days per term in the school year.

2026-27 Fees (USD)AnnualSemester 1Semester 2Term 1Term 2Term 3Term 4
Zone A Both ways$1,590$782$892$404$378$442$450

A discount of 5% will be given to students registering for the two-way service if payment is made for the full year in advance.

Enrolling in the bus service means that a seat on the bus will be reserved for your child, regardless of whether or not they ride the bus on any particular day.

Charges are billed and payable by term, semester and year, in advance, based on school fee payment option chosen by parents. Charges are subject to change without notice at the discretion of the school.

If payment is not made by the due date, parents will be given notice and service will be withdrawn if payment is not made within ten days. Please note that receipts for overdue accounts will be allocated to fees before transportation charges.

Enrolling in the bus service means that a seat on the bus will be reserved for your child, regardless of whether or not they ride the bus on any particular day. Hence, no refund will be given for individual days on which the service isn鈥檛 used by your child.

For those withdrawing during the year, a refund may be made for unused weeks, subject to at least five working days’ notice, in writing to 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Transportation Officer, Ms Sengny Vorn at [email protected].

Parents must notify the school if they no longer wish to use the service. Refunds will only be considered for dates following receipt of notification.

For those registering during the year, charges will be prorated for the days the service is used.

No refund will be given for individual days on which the service isn’t used.

Only registered students will be allowed to board the bus/van.

Pre-Early Years (PEY) to Grade 5 students must be met by a parent or designated person approved by the parents. Any person, including parents, collecting the child must show the 糖心Vlog Parent ID or another school-issued ID (e.g. nanny) for this purpose. Parents can request an ID for a designated person by contacting the Elementary or Secondary Office. Students will be taken back to school if the proper person is not there for drop-off.

Students are not allowed to alight anywhere other than their home or school-designated drop-off point unless authorised by parents and by the school. Students are required to act in a safe and appropriate manner whilst on the bus and to follow the instructions of the bus monitor and driver at all times, for example, remaining seated, behaving respectfully, and refraining from eating or littering.

Students must be at the collection point promptly. If a student is not present at the collection point, the bus monitor will make a phone call only in the first week of service. Buses are only able to wait for no longer than two minutes at each stop in order to keep the schedule for all students and ensure timely arrival at school.

Students who are sick before leaving home in the morning should remain home and should not take the bus to school.

If students become ill during the school day, then they should attend the nurse鈥檚 office, who will contact parents to arrange for them to be sent home. Such students are not to ride the bus home for their own comfort and to avoid the spread of illness to others.

If a student or parent fails to comply with the terms of use, the school reserves the right to withdraw this service.

Are my children required to use the 糖心Vlog transportation service?

No, families make their own decisions about how to transport their children to and from school. 糖心Vlog offers student transportation for morning pick-up and afternoon drop-off as a convenience for those families who choose to take advantage of the service.

What ages of children are able to utilise the transportation service?

All 糖心Vlog students from Pre-Early Years (PEY) to Grade 12 are eligible to use this service. Children in PEY to Grade 5 must be met by a parent or a designated person approved by the parent. PEY-KG students will be escorted to their classrooms when they arrive at school.

Will Elementary and Secondary students be riding together on the same bus/van?

Yes, students of all ages ride the bus/van together. This currently works well and allows siblings to be picked up and dropped off at the same time.聽

Will the Elementary and Secondary students sit together?聽

For behavioural and safety reasons, Elementary students sit at the front of the bus, younger or smaller children sit next to or near the bus monitor, Secondary students sit at the back of the bus, and siblings can sit together.

Will there be a transportation service available near where I live?

Locations for service are determined by interest shown through sign-ups or requests for services. Routes and pick-up/drop-off points are established, fees are decided, and parents are then notified of the options available to them. Interested families are asked to register their children for the service.聽

If there is enough additional interest in service from a previously unserved location, 糖心Vlog may decide to add routes or drop-off/pick-up points at any time.

Who supervises my child at the pick-up and drop-off points?

Parents or their designates (nannies, drivers or other authorised adults) with the Parent ID or another school-issued ID (eg, nanny), will be responsible for waiting at the nominated pick-up points and drop-off points for students from Grade 5 and younger. Parents can request an ID for a designated person by contacting the Elementary or Secondary Office.聽

Parents can nominate older siblings (Secondary students) to supervise younger brothers and sisters at the pick-up and drop-off points, but must report this to the school. Grade 5 and younger students will be taken back to school if the proper person is not there for drop-off.

Who supervises the children on the buses/vans?

糖心Vlog Teaching Assistants (TAs) supervise the children going to and from school. Our TAs are trained to work with children. They are responsible for ensuring that the children are safely picked up and dropped off, and behave in a safe and appropriate manner while riding the bus.

At school, children disembark and board the buses from their parking area within the school grounds, under the supervision of TAs.

Are parents allowed to board the bus to assist their children?聽

For child safety and operational reasons, parents or guardians are not permitted to board the school bus to manage or adjust their child鈥檚 seating. All seating arrangements and supervision are handled by our bus TA.

Are 糖心Vlog vans and buses equipped with seat belts, and if so, are children required to wear them?

Yes, all our vans and buses are fitted with seat belts, which all passengers must wear while the bus is in motion.

If my family moves during the school year, and my drop-off/pick-up point changes or I want to add or cancel the transportation service, what do I do?

If you would like to change your drop-off/pick-up point, contact 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Transportation Officer, Ms Sengny Vorn at [email protected], at least five working days before the requested change in service. If there is a route and space available, we will work with you to arrange transportation to and from your new location.

If you would like to cancel transportation service for your children, please contact the Transportation Officer. No refund will be given for individual days on which the service isn’t used.

If I did not sign up for the transportation service at the start of the academic year and find that I would like to have my children take the bus/van, can I sign up at a later date?

糖心Vlog enrols new students throughout the year, so we do allow families to sign up for transportation services at any time. We organise our routes and drop-off/pick-up points based on registrations prior to the start of the academic year. Waiting lists may also apply, so your best opportunity to have service available near your home is to sign up early.

My child would like his/her friend to come over to our home after school. Can the friend ride the bus home with my child?

Our bus service is only available for students who are registered for the bus due to available space and logistical considerations. Registered students are not allowed to alight anywhere other than their home unless authorised by their parents and by the school.

All reasonable steps will be taken to ensure that the vehicles are well-maintained and that drivers have appropriate training and experience, both for the school-operated and sub-contracted vehicles. The school will plan routes and follow schedules as efficiently as possible. All motor vehicles employed in transporting students shall be adequately covered by public liability insurance in such amount as the school鈥檚 Board of Trustees shall require.

Parents are responsible for properly informing the Elementary or Secondary School offices of emergency contact details. If the school or its employees or contractors are unable to contact the parents or the alternative contact person, parents are required to authorise the school to take such action as necessary to safeguard the student, including arranging emergency medical treatment, the cost of which will be met by the parents.

Arrival and Departure

Buses/vans arrive at school from 7:15am and depart at 2.55pm.

Late Departure

Occasionally, some students may have to delay their journey home as they are involved in 糖心Vlog-organised activities such as sports teams, ASP, homework club or drama rehearsals. If there is a sufficient demand, then a late bus will operate on your route (minimum 5 students).

Due to the demand for seats and the priority given to those students who attend school-organised events, there is little space available for others. This is not an optional service for students who don鈥檛 want to take the regular bus, but rather to meet the needs of students who are required to stay late at their coach鈥檚/teacher鈥檚 request.

Any students who need to take the late bus are required to give as much advance notice as possible to the transportation department by email ([email protected]). If information is not received by 12:00pm on the day the service is required, then we cannot confirm if there is a space available.

If you have any questions about the bus transportation service, please email the Transportation Officer, Ms Sengny Vorn at [email protected].
